The month of August is Women’s Month and Dunlop believes that it’s time to celebrate the achievements of women and to recognise every woman’s ability to push boundaries, change perceptions and change the world!

At Dunlop, we recognise the role of women as drivers of change in the lives of others, as pioneers, nurturers and as strong, proud individuals. But this Women’s Month, Dunlop will also be celebrating something completely different – their superb ‘street smarts’ behind the wheel, and their status as role-models for road safety.

The facts don’t lie. Numerous studies around the world have shown that, on average, women are safer, smarter drivers than men.

So from 7 – 31 August 2015, Dunlop will be highlighting the driving techniques and tips that women do differently or better when on the road, across all Dunlop social media channels with the #safesmartsexy campaign.

Women will be invited to join the movement and their status as a woman whose ‘street smarts’ help make our roads safer by taking a smart selfie in or around their (stationary) car or on the bus, train or taxi – however they choose to get around safely.

They simply need to upload their selfie to their own Facebook, Instagram or Twitter feeds (or the Dunlop Tyres SA pages on the same platforms), where they can stand the chance to win either a R2 500 Spree shopping voucher or one of two R2 500 Mangwanani Spa Vouchers.*
