Why is having a wheel alignment done important?

Imagine a world without any structure and alignment? Pretty “out of shape” I would assume. The same concept can be applied to your vehicle. Read on to find out more:

  • Wheel alignment is part of standard vehicle maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground.
  • The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce uneven tyre wear, and to ensure that the vehicle travel is straight and true (without pulling to the one side).
  • Adjustments are usually made to a vehicles “Toe” or “Camber” settings and on rare cases also be made to “Castor” settings as well.
