THREE DUNLOP EXPRESS STORES OPEN IN TANZANIA

"Tanzania – Friday 26 October 2017- Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (PTY) Ltd (SRSA) in partnership with Nas Tyre Services (Ltd) (NTS), Dunlop’s local distributer in Tanzania is proud to launch three Dunlop Express Stores, in Dar Es Salaam. "

The opening of these stores speaks directly to SRSA Africa expansion strategy which sees them focusing on key African countries with great growth potential and expanding markets.

Tanzania and its larger cities have witnessed an evolution over the years, which has seen premium tyres brands previously reserved for government vehicles become available to everyday consumers. There has also been a gradual increase in luxury vehicles purchasing resulting in the requirement for premium tyres and service.

Nas Tyre Services (Ltd) (NTS) has been in operation in the country for over two decades, and started their partnership with SRSA in early 2014. The partnership has already bore fruit for both parties, with the market responding positively to two other Dunlop Express stores which have been in operation since earlier this year.

Amin B Lakhani, Managing Director of Nas Tyre Services (Ltd) (NTS) said, “The launch of our three Dunlop Express stores is testimony that the premium tyre market in Tanzania is growing. We are looking forward to providing our customers with quick and convenient service they have come to expect from our Dunlop Express stores.”

“We approached Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (SRSA) when we saw a gap in the market and understood that with their training assistance, technical expertise and superior quality products, we would be able to provide consumers with convenient, fast and effective tyre fitment experience as well as a comprehensive stock of quality premium tyres. Our short-term goal is to have a Dunlop Express store in every major city in Tanzania by mid new year”, he continued to say.

The new Dunlop Express store is already operational and officially launched on 26 October 2017.
